Default New and confused

Gday guys,
Im new to the whole forum thing and I must say it has been a blast just reading some of the help things.
I own a magnificent 98 black XJR (aka 'The Black') and I have owned her for 12 years this month. She has a few 'old age' problems that I am working on, but i am certainly not ready to put her in a home yet!
I am looking forward to upgrading some components and fixing some with your expert helpers, even though there are many confusing issues with 'The Black'.
I am a mechanical engineer from Newcastle Australia and live in the glorious Lake Macquarie area.
I also own a 77 daimler Double Six (aka 'The Double') that is about to get the twin turbo treatment. I will post pics as they progress. My friend owns a shop here that specialises in engine swaps and upgrades and has just completed a rear mount turbo on a V8 Lexus powered BMW Z3. (kiddin that car aint confused!) He is trying to convince me to go rear mounts on 'The Double'. /:- Not sure about that one. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Anyway, my other rides are a Ferrari 360 Modena and twin turbo mercedes coupe, but I far more enjoy the splendour of my leaping cats!! :-)
Look forward to the adventure.

Thanks Norri Im really enjoying it.
Can you please tell me how I might best ask the question of wiring for the premium sound system.
I am told they are already in the car but I am not sure I have enough empty plugs in the boot.
Where would I best post this question?

Your best bet is probably the X 308 section.

Welcome to the forum.

Impressive project you are tackling.

Please post a build thread.

Thanks Richard,
I am going to put a build album together so if anyone wants to copy the system it should be fairly well sorted.
My business is very busy as well which does slow these enjoyable things a little, but I hope to get a better handle on my personal time this year :-)

Cheers.
