New convertible fanatic from the Oregon Coast

Hello folks,
thanks for taking me into the fold! I don't own a Jaguar, but am a convertible fanatic with far too many European cars in my driveway, and will mostly be hanging out in the XK8 section. I like to learn and to share my knowledge. Jaguars are beautiful cars, and I hope I can help the convertible owners in getting more joy and use out of their pieces of art with some of my in-depth universal knowledge of convertible top systems. You have some members who give excellent advice, and I hope to learn a lot! Every forum has its own little nuances, and I have already been quite impressed by how much effort some of the senior members have put into helping out, not to mention the moderators and administrators - thank you all...![Icon Clapclap](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_clapclap.gif)
I actually appreciate the fairly tight etiquette when it comes to vetting new members and enforcing forum policies. If I am too bold or have blundered otherwise, please forgive me!
Best regards,
Klaus

Thanks for the intro, full of info, always good to see.
We have a realy great bunch here, and generally everyone is very friendly and welcoming.
We appreciate the positive comments made about the site too Klaus.
Generally we try to run a fairly tight ship as far as etiquette goes but like to let the place flow as much as possible, Its not too often we get accused of over moderating.
There really are some amazing and friendly guys here....you're in really good company to discuss anything Jag related or even just to have a few laughs!
A really great mix of information, camraderrie and fun
