Thanks for another Jaguar resource. I started down the dark road of Jaguar enthusiasm about 12 years ago with the purchase of a 1986 Series III XJ6. Believe or not it was owned by a 50ish year old woman that just drove it on weekends and had 36,000 miles on it. I did a full cosmetic restoration. Stripped to bare metal, nice car. I ended having to sell it in January of 2010. I had already bought an 88 XJ-S coupe. Since I have gotten six XJ-S parts cars and 4 XJ-S that are or will be drivers. The 88 coupe is now being finished with a new 6.0L V12, manual 5 speed, sport suspension, rear seat delete, and full body and interior restoration with TWR body kit and Jaguar Sport wheels. I also own a 1992 VDP Majestic with a tick over 50,000 miles. It is a multiple first place JCNA Concourse winner in its class. I'll Get some photos of the cars posted at some point and until the I bid you adieu.

Hello, Stephen,
When I started reading this I thought it was just another owner tired of his Jag (for whatever reason) wanting to push it. I was glad to read of all the attention you gave your Xj6 before moving on to your fleet of XJ-Ss. By your description of the S3, someone got a Really Nice Car!!
You'll really enjoy our very busy XJS section, to which someone will be along shortly to guide you.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
