After a long period of "should I or shouldn't I," I sold my 2017 MX-5 RF for a 2016 F-Type 340HP coupe with only 10k miles on it. Although this car is somewhat intimidating compared to the road hugging simplicity of the MX-5 RF, I'm loving it and learning about its many features and personality every day. Captivating doesn't even come close to describing this car.

The car will be a lot less scary if you put decent performance tires on it. Michelin Pilot Super Sport or Michelin Pilot 4S. Stock Pirelli P-Zero are worse than awful and outright dangerous on a car like F-type.
Keep in mind, your oil changes should be based on both age and mileage. On a car with only 10K it is possible that previous owner neglected maintenance. The car should be on its 4th oil change by now. Especially considering that there is no low oil level warning on F-type - you only get red oil pressure dash light, by then it is too late.
