Greetings from Arizona! I am the original owner of a 2002 S-Type with 3.0, 157,000 well earned miles and have been blessed with a trouble free car, unlike the many stories I have heard. I do all my own maintenance and repairs when possible rather than take it anywhere. I love the car and currently am in the process of replacing all the front and rear suspension components, Removing the Cats and replacing with KYB struts, while I send the original Bilstein's off to be rebuilt. After many grueling years in the AZ heat, replacing the leather on the front seats, and some minor cosmetic touch ups. I fabricated a new Demister panel last winter as mine came out in 10 pcs, and I could not find a replacement without much cost. Total investment was $35.00 and looks better than original. I rebuilt the center console due to cracks, etc...and will clear coat the wood dash in the next couple weeks to repair cracks. Little work, lotta love = No car payment!
