Hey guys just bought my first jag, its a 2004 3.0 x-type.
Got it for 5000 with only 100000 miles on it so i think i did pretty good. I'm hoping there are some jag guys from Wisconsin on here, would be nice to meet up with some locals.

Welcome Cheezil. Sounds like you got a pretty good deal. Did you have your new Cat checked out before you plunked down that 5 large?

im actually pretty good friends with the guy, it is a one owner car, all maintenance done at a jag dealer, the only problem is the dreaded oil pan gasket leak, other than that car is solid.

Welcome to the forum mr.cheezil,

Congratulations on the X-Type. A one owner vehicle with full Jaguar service history is the best provenance. Hope the oil pan leak is easily resolved.

Follow this link X-Type - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X-Type section for help, advice and information.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can visit the Mid West US Region section by following this link Mid West US - IL IN IA MI MN MO OH WI - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the X-type and the forum.

Hello mr.cheezil, welcome to the forum, and greetings from Wisconsin. There are definitely a few of us Wisconsinites active on the forum; and I am keen to see us organize some kind of rally one of these days. Check out the Midwest Region to look for others in the area.

Meanwhile, enjoy the forum and enjoy the car. It sounds like you found a good one!

Cheers,
Scott
