Hi,

Thought I would introduce myself. Bought my first Jag, an X-type 2.2D Sport 2006, in September. Great car so far. Suspension is a bit harsh but you get used to it I suppose. I will post pictures when I re-polish it in a couple of weeks. I won't necessary post a lot as I am not a 'font of knowledge' on cars but I do enjoy the depth of knowledge and expertise that many of you guys are able to offer to the likes of myself when trouble starts!

Welcome to the forum StevoGee,

You must have a very optimistic outlook on the weather if you're expecting to polish the car in the next couple of weeks.

I can see you've already found your way to the X-Type tech section so no need for me to give you a link.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK Region section by following this link UK - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in this country.

Enjoy the forum.

Thanks Gentlemen for the welcome and also for the useful tips and advice. I am also a biker and have almost found myself waving to other Jag owners when passing them as is the custom in the bike world. I must keep myself in check or I'm going to get some weird looks back! Proud to be a Jag driver and owner! As for polishing it I have a garage and I (have to)wash the car regularly as it is black! But it is worth it!
