Default new to forum new to jags

hi my name is brad. i will be acquiring my first jag in the next couple of months. it is a 1960 mark IX sedan.

it is a partialy restored car that my grandpa has started and is now passing on to me to finish. as soon as i get it i will post some pics. havent seen it, but he said overall it is in pretty good shape.

the one thing i do know is the original motor put a rod through the block and was replaced with a 292 inline six.

other than that i will know more when i have time to make the 650 mile trip to get it.
