New to the forum and new to Jaguar
Hi everyone.
Just introducing myself. I've been hovering around the forum for a good few months before buying my first Jaguar a few weeks ago.
I got a 2004 XJ6 SE with 55000 on the clock. It's in great shape with a few minor jobs to tinker away at but nothing crucial.
With the help of the great advice here I've been slowly getting to know the motor over the last few weeks. Saying that I still can't get my driving seat position right at the moment.
I've plans to do a soft-mod with some new wheels, exhaust and remapping. Trying to keep it sophisticated but with an edge.
My job for this weekend will be pulling the centre console out to fit an iSimple modulator to the stereo so I can have my music.
I'm based in Motherwell Scotland.
Cheers

Welcome to the forum sota35,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
It sounds like you've already found your way to the X350 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.

Thanks for the welcome everyone.
My day didn't go as well as I'd hoped with the iSimple.
I think I have a dodgy iSimple unit, either that or I've managed to blow it out in the process of installing it.
I did however learn how to take the centre console, head unit and ashtray out in super quick time so that's a bonus. Gonna try again in a few days with a different unit.
It's all a learning curve.
