Default New to forum...New to Jaguar

Hello everybody, I just bought a 1997 XK8 convrt for $5K, so I figured I'll be ok with putting some money into it. It came to me with new top, new tires, torn drivers seat, no green key no stereo system information. It has the H-K 6cd changer in trunk. Leaks fluid, runs great, sounds fantastic, 194,000 miles on it.

I figured with that many miles, everything MUST have already been fixed to sound and run so well.

I love the car.

Wish me luck, I'm sure I'll be in touch.

Welcome to the forum eieio,

That's a respectable mileage.

Follow Norri's link to the XK8 tech section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Hope the rain stops long enough for you to top the 200K this year.

Enjoy the forum

Graham
