Default New To Forums & Jags! X260 Exhaust Vibration

Hi All. Message from Birmingham UK. So I'm new to this Brand. Had this car since May 2022. 94k miles on the Clock. I have this weird vibration all throughout the car. The only way to explain it is like a rolling vibration. Only when Idle. I took the car into a Jag specialist. They said my passenger engine mount had gone. So that was replaced. But still having the issue but not as harsh as it was. I have a video of before and after. There is a slight difference but yet the problem still occurs. Hoping someone can shed some light on this as I've got to a point I'd be happy for It to burn to the ground 🙈

Welcome to the forums Steven,

Good to have you with us.

Assuming the engine is running normally, vibration must be a failed engine, transmission or exhaust mount. The diesel X260 has a Pad (P/N T2H3835) on one side of the cylinder block and an Insulator (JDE38502) on the other. I'd start with them and work backwards.

Hello, Steven,
First off, Congratulations on your First Jaguar!
Second, I hope you get to the bottom of that vibration so you can DRIVE THE WHEELS OFF as the car was intended to be driven.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
