Hello hello, I'm new here. My main squeeze is a meticulously maintained 2004 XJ8 with 108k on the odometer.
Although I've been a lurker on this site for some time, the fellow who sold me the XJ8 is an active member here. Thanks, Steve!
I also picked up this 1999 XJR with 82k on it. This one's a bit of a project, as the engine overheated on a previous owner to the point of seizing. Coolant has leaked into the combustion chamber and out of the exhaust.
It sounds like you've already found your way to the appropriate tech forums so there's no need for links from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.
