A New Guy
Hello All---
I'm a former daily driver of a '96 XJ Saloon, who at present, drives an '02 Lincoln LS. As, I'm sure you know, at the time I bought the car new, FoMoCo owned Jaguar, and used a version of the AJ V-8 to power the eight cylinder version of the car.
After a series of circumstances I won't recount now, I got hooked on Land Speed racing and have now added the necessary accoutrements to pursue that 'hobby'. I'm, at present, putting together a fresh engine, having started with an AJ-27 core, using enough aftermarket components to considerably toughen the lower end in preparation for the power I expect to generate.
Since there is no such thing as enough technical input, I believe that this forum is a great place to have contact with. I will be most happy to reciprocate as I am able.

Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.
Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.
