Default New guy from Atlanta area

I wanted to say hello to everyone here. I do not own a Jaguar yet but I am looking. I have wanted one from a small child when my uncle had one he used to restore them. I own or should I say they own me BMW e36 coupe and a 79 F250. I am out looking for a Jaguar to rebuild. If any one could point me in the right direction. I am looking for a 4 door. If there are better models of the XJ series to buy. I have seen some here any where from 500 to 6000 dollars. I believe I have rambled to long.

Welcome, restoration is not an easy job , my recommendation is to buy X300 1995-97 XJ6 , Sovereign
Scour other forums and search threads that will make up your decision

Here's a S-Type 4.0 in Atlanta, needs a motor for only $2,200. Suppose it's a starter motor? Find a 4.0 from a Ford and swap engines, have a cheap ride, it's pretty tempting actually.

good to have you here with us

The off topic section can be fun and there's always the regional section so you can see who is around!
