Default New guy to the boards w/ a S Type R.....

Hellos fellow Jaguar lovers....
Came across your site and looks to be pretty cool! On many other car boards, but nice to be on another board w/ people who drive the same type of car!

Its a 2003 Jaguar S Type R.......Have a few things done to it, which makes it fun and not blend in.....Soon there will be more this spring for it, but with the winters here in the midwest it is not fun to work in the garage when you cant feel your fingers!

Mods:
Mina Cold Air
2.5 Upper Pulley Swap
Tinited windows
Powder coated Gloss black wheels
NGK Plugs

Mod parts in the garage:
Lower crank pulley upgrade
H&R Lowering springs
High Flow cats
SS X Pipe
Magnaflow SS Mufflers
3" SS Tips
T-stat
2 Alpine Type R 10" Subwoofers
MTX Thunder 1500 watt mono amp

Left to be bought:
Blower port/polish
Eurotoys Custom tune for all above mods

The car is a pleasure to drive, and still turns heads and hurts mustang/M3's/Camaro's feelings daily

I had some minor headaches with the car but it is a Jaguar so it is to be expected......It would be nice if there where more parts for our cars other than like 2 companys to make anything for them......

Thanks, I am just me.....

Look forward to knowing everyone here.....

and added 2 lil videos of the STR on the dyno one night for a baseline to see progress results....
I had to go back a few days later so we could run the car all the way through the rpm's due to the ABS sensor throwing a stop to the run as the car relized the front wheels was not spinning and went into "restricted performance mode"

Un-plugged it and went to town!

welcome riski, great intro bud. There's a few R owners around here who you'll get along with just fine, always tinkering to get some more HP from the car.

Glad to have ya on board.
