New guy here
Hello everyone. I've finally joined the forum in quest of more information and opinions about the XJR's. With the current going rate of these stunning cars I have found it hard to resist picking one up. So I am here to read and gather as much information about them as possible before purchasing one.
I personally come form a Porsche background (I worked for Imagine Auto for many years before they were forced to close their doors as a result of the recession) and currently work for Aerocharger, LLC developing turbo systems for various vehicles. This will be my first British car, but being mechanically inclined I think I will survive. The idea of owning a supercharged car will likely stir up some debate at work but you can't please everyone!

Welcome aboard :-)
Are you considering any particular model year or series of XJR?
Broadly speaking Jags are great cars with some occasional flaws and disappointments. The legends from the '50-'80s linger on even though the cars are much improved.
One thing I can assure you: you'll never find more car for less money than a nice used Jag.
Cheers

Hello and welcome to jaguarforums.com.
Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.
Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.
