Default New guy from WI 2016 F-Type coupe

Greetings fellow Jaguar enthusiasts! Long time lurker, first time poster from north east Wisconsin and proud owner of your basic white 2016 F-Type S. I purchased the car from a dealer in Georgia last August and drove back the 900 or so miles home. Had to go out of state to find it as these cars are not very plentiful in this region of the mid-west. As my luck has it, about 4 months after I bought my car one popped up at a dealer about 30 minutes from me but that's just how it goes sometimes. This is my summer fun car, which replaced my previous summer fun car which was a flat head powered chopped Model A Ford so going to the F-Type is like going from a Sopwith Camel to the space shuttle but it's been a welcomed transition. I've already gleaned a lot of good info from the forums thus far and look forward to contributing when I can

Welcome to the forums Badger79,

Good to have you with us.

I can see you've already found your way to the F-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. You can also use the US Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-midwest-39/ to find other members in your region.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

I am in the same boat looking way out of state to a Manual F Type! It is amazing how rare they seem to be in the Midwest in general! I think I see 1 F Type every 3-4 months if that up here! Hope you are loving your car. I just joined up to learn as much as possible about these cars as well.
