Default New on here Hello all Help Please

Hi all can anyone give me some advice on this fault ? I have an 2002 x type 2.5 v6 i had the engine management light come up i read the code it was showing knock sensor ! so i changed the knock sensor problem solved or so i thought !! i done 10 miles with no problems then the car went to limp mode again saying knock sensor again grrr .. if i clear the fault it wont go into limp mode until it goes to normal temreture then the light comes on and it again shows knock sensor fault !! the car dont knock at all it sounds sweet . has anyone got any ideas ?? could it be plugs ?? or something else ?? cheers in advance

I can see you've already found your way to the X-Type tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
