New here, and to Jag's
I've been working on.... er... driving British cars for about 10 years now, but almost exclusively triumphs...
I had a Jag fall into my lap at a price I couldn't refuse, so now I'm the proud owner of an 86 v-12 XJS that wont start, and needs paint. (I know.. I know)
Hopefully I'll get the answers I need here to help get and keep the thing on the road.
Sadly, I'll be leaving the country for several months in the next few weeks, so I might not get to drive the car, and even if I get it running, I wont get to drive it much until I return.
Guess that'll do for an introduction

Thanks for all the welcomes guys!
I've got another thread posted in the XJS forum asking (what I think are) pertinent questions about getting the car running, if anybody has the time and knowledge to help, it certainly would be appreciated!
I'm reading through Kirby's book, but not finding a lot of answers so far...
And thanks again!
