New Jag Enthusist - and owner to be?
Hi everyone
Firstly, what a nice forum, with lots of technical knowledge. I'm very impressed.
Briefly about me, my name is Morten and I'm from Denmark, but live in the UK now for quite some years.
I come from, and still am, in the Audi family, and although I've been extremely happy with the car I'm looking to ditch the old lady and upgrading to something a little nicer. Have had the A5 3.0tdi cab for just over a year.
Currently looking at the XKR-S and had the joy of test driving one yesterday. What a car. I'm convinced by the noise it makes alone, the luxurious interior and beautiful looks is not a bad thing either Dealer then kindly pointed out that the F-type was within my budget as well, so now I'm going to test drive one of those next weekend to see what I make of it.
But rather than lurking around while making the final decision I decided to join up and get involved. Will let you know how I get on with my search.
Look forward to spending time on the forum and hopefully a Jag in the near future.
/Morten

XKR-S To buy or not to buy.......easy!!
Hi Morton
I know that feeling so true!! I had the same feeling this morning and now I am waiting for my collection date. I couldnt stop smiling whilst driving it and havent stopped thinking about it since signing on the line and parting with my cash.
I have a merc for daily use, but I may just let the merc do some time in the garage instead, especially if the sun continues to shine.
Dont wait any longer...go crazy, you only live once!!!
Pete
