New Jag Owner '03 X-Type

I bought and 0'3 X-Type about two months ago now. So far I love the car. Does anyone know how much a new key/fob costs, I only have one and want a spare. Anything I need to know about the '03s? Thanks, I look foward to visiting here often.

When I bought mine last year, I was able to buy 2 brand newfobs from Ebay for $20! The keys, however are a different story. I called 2 dealers and got 3 different answers. [

]I ended up getting 2 new keys made and programmed and I think it cost around $120. I don't remember what new fobs would have cost.

I dunno 'bout the price you asked but since we know earlier models have some key fob glitches then I believe late models must have sorted it out .
