I bought this from one of my customers, a family car with only 53k miles!. It's got it's little issues like the common sagging headlights which I've fixed, but it's a spectacular ride. I know the previous owners well and it's been babied, I'm the first to open it up at all and haven't been over 85MPH. The acceleration and handling are amazing for a 2 ton ride and the comfort is unparalleled. I've had many high performance/sporty cars, but this car breaks the mold. It doesn't really suit my current vehicle desires being mostly a truck guy (and aging and slowing down) but it's amazing.

Welcome to the forum '05 STR,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

As you've already found your way to the S-Type tech forum, there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the USA Western Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/western-us-ak-ca-nv-ut-hi-wa-id-38/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Thank you all. Now onto the S section where I'll try to contribute what I know while sucking up as much as possible about what I don't know.
