New jag owner
Hello everyone! First of all I want to say thank you to all the people who make this forum possible and to all the people who post.
This site has been a gold mine of knowledge for me which has been extremely helpful as I have joined the jag community knowing nothing about them. I came to be a jag owner mostly due to a coworker of mine. He owns a xj6 (not sure what year) that I took notice of. For me that was it. I had to have a jag.
So I got online and found an 03 xjr and ended up getting it. At the time I had a vw gti that I loved and was having a hard time parting with it but I'm so glad I did and couldn't be happier with the xjr. I love the looks it gets (it's black with about 15ish% tint and factory bbs wheels). Also I'm 23 and I drive a jag!!! which gets me some strange looks when I get in or out.
I suspect some people figure I'm driving my parents car. There are things here and there that need fixing but nothing that's out of the ordinary for an eleven year old car. Haven't had the slightest trouble from any major parts. It's got 116k miles but still runs like a champ.
Thanks again for everyone's time. I'm super excited to own a jag!

Welcome to the forum L3dz3pp3l1n,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. Can I call you L3 for short?
It's sounds like you probably already know your way to the tech section but if not, follow this link XJ ( X308 ) XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X308 forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the US Lower Atlantic Region forum by following this link Lower Atlantic - NC SC FL GA - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
