Hey, wassup, new Jaaaaaagg guy here. Just got my first Jag ever two days ago.

She's a 2001 XJ8 L with 67k miles on the clock. Far as I can tell, she's in perfect condition. Bought from CarMax. Got a 125,000 mile warranty on it anyway.
I should note that this Jag is the first car I've ever bought. My last car was a hand-me-down lease from the parents (I'm 19, I should point out.
). So I'm incredibly lucky to have such a thing.
I am, however, suffering from MASSIVE buyer's remorse. This was kinda amplified this morning by spending $7.70 on a tenth of a tank of fuel, so I can already see fill-ups will be painful here in LA. (Good thing my employer gives me mileage allowance. $0.50 a mile.) The only thing stopping me from driving this beauty straight back to the dealership and swapping it for a Prius is the feeling that if I let it go, I'll never experience heaven like it again.
So anyway, what do I need to keep my eyes out for? And how often should I have it serviced?

A very, very, nice car, and with fuel so cheap in the USA. In the UK where I live, a 19 year old would never, ever, get insurance for a car like that, apart from paying a small fortune for petrol (gas), like $ 1.90 a litre.
Get the Prius in a few years time; if you will still want it then, that is.
