I was going to wait until I had the car in my possession before I posted a formal introduction, but I guess it can't hurt ![Icon Wink](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)
The car I'm wanting to pick up is an '02 X-Type, 2.5L 5-speed. I have loved this car since I drove it to prom my Senior year (it was more fun than my date). It's my aunt's car, and it needs a transfer case. Here is a link to my other introduction/question thread:

I am a full time engineering student and love the automotive industry. I am heavily into the Japanese import scene. This will be my first British car. In order to fund this purchase I am selling my current "project" car, a '93 Honda Prelude. I have done a lot of modifications to that car (tasteful modifications, none of that Fast and the Furious BS), and hate to see it go, but as stated it is only a project car to me right now. It started out as a daily driver until I did a "full wire tuck" and removed everything from the engine bay that wasn't necessary to run. As it sits it doesn't have AC or heat, PS, CC, ABS, or any of the emissions stuff. It is also stupid low, and is bottomed out on either the front upper control arms or the actual struts. This makes for a very uncomfortable ride, but it looks nice![Icon Razz](https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif)

So if this car means so much to me, why sell it and buy the Jag? As stated, I'm a full time engineering student and this car takes focus (and funds) away from school. I need a car that I will just drive and not want to modify, much. I already have a few plans for the Jag if I do get it, but it will remain as transportation only. Once I get my degree and can afford to have another project car, I will get another Prelude and build it better than ever.

It doesn't matter so much that you don't have a Jag as yet, we try to be a car enthusiasts site but mainly for Jaguar!
I've manually upgraded you to Full forum access so you can view ALL the site has to offer....
I'm sure you have already but if not, check out the X type quick FAQ link threads for lots of good info!
Enjoy the site
