New Jag Owner(s) intro
Hi Everyone. My name is Tim. As of today I'm a new owner of a Jaguar.. 03' X-type. Made the final decision to purchase based off all of the great information I've got reading through the great threads on this board. Hoping to add to that.
Wife is also inheriting an S-type, although we here it's a basket case, I know it has a rebuilt title. She should be making her intro here as well. I'm sure we will have many questions on this car.

Thank you for the welcome. It is quite the dive, considering a trustee celica and blazer were our daily drivers...LOL...still knocking on wood. Yeah I have a feeling the S is going to be pain. We just drove it this morning and it seems the torque converter is not locking out in the last gear....lovely.. X-type seeeeeeemmms perfect. 75K and a 5-spd.
Non-the-less, I've always like the loved the xjr and of coarse Jag's vintage cars. I'm still knocking on the wood but atleat we've got a nissan pickup and blazer in case.

Hi Tim,
New Jaguar owner of a 2011 XF. She is my dream car. I was watching Pawn Stars the other night and Rick bought a 1987 S type from a guy who selling his wife's car. He paid $2500.00. The interior was in mint condition. The body a minor damage and easily repaired. What a steal when he had it all detailed.
