Exclamation New Jag owner from San Clemente Ca.

Hi there everybody, I just bought this really nice 93 xj40 and It won't let me drive it. So I found this fourm and I hope I can find some solutions. the neg battery cable came out of the terminal connector while driving. Now I have no power to thr starter, instument pack, radio, and head lights. I've been told its the anti-thift system but I don't know what about it, or if thats even it.

Welcome to the forum AA,

This is the intro area, you should post your question in the XJ40 area to get a good response to your question, I've combined both your threads in one.

Welcome to the forum autionadict, as above post your question into the XJ40 section.

If all fuses are good, check the inertia switch (behind the side panel down by your left foot), just maybe.

No petrol car likes to run with the batt disconnected, can fry diodes etc in the alternator.
