Exclamation New jag owner. As soon as I drove off I started getting issiues :/ 2004 VDP

Hey guys. My name is Austin and I just bought a 2004 VDP. Its suuuuuuper clean on the inside and 9.5 out of 10 on the outside. One owner tons of paperwork 100k miles paid 11k for it. When I bought it the engine light was on throwing a code for the O2 sensor. I knew that. After driving it for aprox 60 miles the " air suspension " light came on the dash. I am SO bummed. And for kicks the hood wont pop now. Everything worked fine when I drove it. Ive drove it 3x and have been looking at it for weeks. Seller said never had my issiues. Can it just be my bad luck??

Any help would be amazing. The hood was me worried. Is the O2 and easy fix? And short of taking it to the dealership how can i troubleshoot the suspension?

Welcome to this friendly Forum, Austin..
Your car's technical section is
XJ ( X350 & X358 ) XJ6 / XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
and there's a Regional one too
Lower Atlantic - NC SC FL GA - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
There's a lot of advice on getting the bonnet open - just do some querying.
Have a look at the many air suspension posts too and start a new thread in the technical section if you're stuck.
Enjoy your membership here.

Welcome to the forum Austin,

Follow Steve's link to the X350 section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forum.
