Default New to Jag ownership

Joined the forum about a month ago, just never got around to posting an intro. I bought an XJS about 2 months ago with no maintenance history . I went back and forth on whether or not to put enough cash and time into it to make it roadworthy. Paper gaskets, hoses glued together, bad manifold linkages, oil all over the bottom of the block, and the list goes on.

Oh, and did I mention that little one number #2 is coming in 2 weeks?

With all that being said, I've decided to re-purpose it as the best man-cave furniture ever conceived.

I'm bracing myself for backlash.

Welcome to the forum Dr. V12,

Good to have you here with us at Jaguar forums.

All Jaguar models can soak up the $$ but an XJS with issues is the most expensive. With your furnishing plans, I don't suppose you'll have too much need for a link to the XJS section!

You can also visit the US Western Region section by following this link Western US - AK CA NV OR UT HI WA ID - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.
