Default New Jag S Type owner

I missed this forum before my first post.

I've managed to acquire the family jag FOC as a 3rd car which I'll run as a commuting car.

S type 3.0 V6 April 2003 with circa 115k miles in Zircon Blue JHV with cream interior (not sure of the exact code).

It could do with a service, some bodywork TLC (2 front wings are bubbling on the top of the arch), new battery (it generated a DSC/ABS fault and clunky gearbox although its now back to normal) but apart from that it's served the family well since it was bought used at 1 year old with 10k miles. Tyres, brakes and the odd spring is all that it's required.

I now need to get it the 400miles south from Glasgow to Kent without any events.

Welcome to the Forums.

Glasgow to Kent, that would be "downhill" so no issues at all, HA.

Good luck.

From one S-type owner to another... Welcome. The S-type forum is populated with a very friendly group and contains a wealth of knowledge.

Welcome to the forums CSK423,

Good to have you with us.

I can see you've already found your way to the S-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.

I've added vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. If you want to change these, go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
