Hi All,
I just picked up my first Jaguar about a week ago, its a 1996 Vander Plas with 83,xxx miles in very good condition......except for the fact that it doesn't run
I have been searching through the forum a lot trying to find the exact symptoms I have, but have been unsuccessful so far. My previous experience with British engineering has been all Triumph, ive got a 79 spit and a 69 Bonneville but this XJ6 has about 10x the electronics than both the others put together.
I am hoping to find some help troubleshooting my issues here so I can get my big cat out on the road.

Hello, Chris,
Congratulations on your 'new' Jaguar!
20 or 25 years does make a difference as far as electronic cars is concerned, Any automotive electronics!
However, someone will be along shortly to direct you to the correct section where you can find expert help for any problem you might have with your car.

Welcome to the forum Chris,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you've already found your way to the X300 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the US Northeast Region forum by following this link US Northeast - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham
