New Jag XJS owner here
I am the proud new owner of a barn find 1988 XJS V12 with 32,000 original miles in Nashville TN. Its been sitting for about 5 years now and currently won't start but will if you spray brake cleaner in the intake. I've already downloaded the amazing writeup "so your he V12 won't start" and it's great! I'm now looking for somebody to point me in the correct direction for general maintenance before I even begin to try and get it running. I'm sure I'll change the oil (any suggestions on type and viscosity for this age of engine), probably needs the gas removed from the tank and radiators flushed. But I'm not sure if there are other things. Oh and it was in good running condition when parked. Any links to threads would be greatly appreciated
