there's a jag for everyone, depending on style, budget, size, number of doors, speed potential, etc.
Personally, I like all models, the x-type being at the bottom of the list, all for different reasons. I chose the xk8 convertible for the open top, which is my first ever.

It all depends on how much money you have to spend, and whether you want a saloon (sedan), or a sports-type like the XJS or the XK sports. These latter are available as hard and soft tops, with the convertibles being the most expensive.
Make sure any car you buy has a service record, hopefully with the service invoices and so on. All Jaguars are complex cars and many owners are tempted to not do the servicing at the right mileage or even not to do it at all !!
