New Jaguar XKR owner in Sweden
Hi all!
I finally got my own Jaguar XKR in Sherwood Green.
The car is from 1998 with the 4.0 L V8 w supercharger. Mileage 99000 when I bought it. Now about 105k.
I bought the car the 7'th of november in UK and drove it from Banstead (S London) to Harwich where the ferry took me to Denmark. The rest was/is pure joy driving it home. It is fantastic drive.
Right now I about to make the car "swedish" and are arranging the garage for it to the winter where I will make it shine and ready for the spring.
Greetings from another lucky Jag-owner

Banstead-Harwich...
@ GGG: The drive from Banstead to Harwich was one of the best I ever had. It was the first time for me driving in the left lane traffic in a, for me, a completely new car. I have never been sitting in a XKR before then. The weather was also the best, crisp clear and sunny. You can not ask for more. I'm sorry not writing it the first time, but the whole trip was unbeatable.
The "making it Swedish" isn't very easy in this case. Right now Transportsyrelsen (=the swedish DVLA) is in contact with the DVLA because of a missing part of the V5C-document.
I hope it solves in a good way soon
