Default New (to me) 2010 XKR

My friend was trading in her 2010 XKR with under 30k miles to the BMW *********** on Saturday. They completely fleeced her on the trade in value... so I, being a good friend that I am, told her that I would pay the same amount and gladly let her borrow it whenever she wanted. As she was getting sad trading it in and liked the prospect of keeping it in her life, she agreed. I seriously could not be happier with this car. Now if I can just get it to stop kicking its portly rear end out whenever I mash the gas down, I'll be a happy camper (used to own an SRT8 jeep and not used to 2wds with this much power). Anyway, glad to be here! This forum has already been extremely helpful as I used it to figure out how to get my iphone 5 integrated. Looking forward to learning more about this amazing machine from you guys.

Welcome to the forum Paul,

I only wish I had friends and neighbours needing that kind of assistance!

It sounds as if you already know your way around here but if not, follow this link XK / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XK/XKR section for help, advice and information.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You may also like to visit the US Lower Atlantic Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/lower-atlantic-nc-sc-fl-ga-66/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.

Welcome to the forum! That throttle takes some getting used to to get the light touch down. Even my XK will slide sideways with too firm a push. Makes parking lots a challenge! Thats a really great pic! Enjoy your ride.

Cheers Jim - much appreciated! Sorry to hear about your Audi affliction... it's tragic when that happens to a good man! haha.

Thanks Jay... I definitely need to lighten up my foot a little... just such a pleasure mashing it down though and hearing the engine come to life.
