Greetings from Port Orchard, Washington!
My name is Mitch, and I am a new Jag-a-holic. I have recently acquired a 2006 XJ8 4.2L in Crimson with a mere 110K miles on her. We are still in the early stages of our love affair, and for me it is already agape. (But then Ive always appreciated a woman with more miles and experience!) The bonnet has already collapsed on me several times as Ive topped-off her fluids and mostly just admired the engine, so I feel like its going well?
In all honesty, Im not normally a car guy. But in the US its a necessity, and if I must own an extra vehicle I am thrilled to have the opportunity to call Roxanne mine. And with me she will never have to put on the red light, though I suppose stopping at them is still on the table.
Cheers, and thanks for having me in!
Mitch
2006 XJ8 4.2L Hel-looo, sexy! Absolutely spotless! Ive already replaced the old chrome wheels with silver mags because they wouldnt hold a seal. No pics yet!
Fabulous looking car Mitch and welcome to the forums. Looking forward to seeing the new wheels when you take the photos. Shame the chome wouldn't hold air. They look great!

It is a pleasure to be here, and I look forward to regularly confessing my ignorance in your presence. My wife and I have been restoring a house (with plenty of help from experts) for five years now, and I look forward to the same journey of discovery with Roxy. Hopefully with a lot fewer surprises!

As requested! I grabbed these during todays detailing by my wife while I labored in the yard. These wheels were a nod to my wifes immediate peace of mind as it is to be her primary car around town and I couldnt knowingly send her out on rims that wont hold a seal. I do like the modernity and sportiness of the additional spokes, however, and the silver milled profile I think does Roxy justice in place of the chrome. I do mourn the loss of the Jag badging on the hubs, but these Rotiforms have a single large locking hub cover that isnt compatible to the OEM hub covers. Ill keep an eye out for something thatll work. Wed like to have the Snarler back in their places!
