Wow, this is not where I expected to be not so very long ago. I've only owned one car from the UK, a Triumph GT6+, and I absolutely loved it. A friend of mine has owned a 67 jag for 25 yrs, and I started thinking I wouldn't mind riding around in some kind of comfortable styling. I bought a Jeep wrangler about 15 yrs ago and was able to trade straight across for an XJ8 sport with 84,000 miles. Had a post purchase inspection done (I guess I like to do things backwards) and everything saftey wise and drivetrain checked out great. I am looking forward to learning enough to make some minor repairs of my own.
