I have had the S-Type R for about three years now, it is a great car I love it!!
Previously had a very nice 4.0 XJ-40 Sov. for about 9 years.
(I am on the XJ40.com forum)
Many years ago, about 25 in fact, worked in the motor trade, including working on the Jaguars of the time as well as many other makes. At various times my work included MOT testing, I was also main dealer parts dept. manager for a time and a workshop foreman as well. (My speciality when on the tools was auto electrics.)
I have been involved with some unusual projects in my youth, a 2.8i Cortina Mk2, a twin cam ford engine in a 1975 mini clubman estate (on a mini gearbox) and a Rover V8 in Morris Minor are three that spring to mind!!!
However these days I do not do much 'dirty' work on our cars myself, I even take them in for the oil change! But I do some stuff when I want to.
This photo was from the advert three years ago, but it looks identical now.
