Hi All!
My wife Amy fell in love/lust with a newer XK she saw at a dealer @ 6 months ago and made it her mission to get one.
My first thought: A JAGUAR!? Oh hell no! I had been aware of Ford's efforts to address reliability issues with them & after some research decided I would go along with her wish if she found one she wanted. After a search and a few test drives, she found a privately owned 2007, Frost Blue/Ivory Slate. It had been well cared for by the original owner but he had to sell as he is literally going blind and cannot drive any longer. Unfortunately the car's bumpers suffered a bit prior to his wise decision to put down the keys, but fortunately it is all superficial and will be dealt with over time.
We are really enjoying the car, especially Amy! Looking forward to mixing it up with the X150 bunch and hoping to meet some of the SoCal locals. We have joined the San Diego Jaguar Club and plan on being active participants, in fact we are going to the Safari Park GTG this Sunday.
Thanks for looking in!
