Smile New Member!!

Hey everybody, im a new member from the Dallas,Texas Area. Im 18 and i just bought my first Jaguar about 6 months ago. I have a 2004 Black Jaguar S-type. Now that i have some money put together i wanted to do do a little somthin to my car. No im not talking 24"s and a couple bass booming kickers in the back. I was thinking of blacking out the chrome on the car and powder coating my rims black, or plasti dipping it matte white/leaving the roof glossy black, and also powder coating the rims black. I know this may all sound stupid to put on a jag but this is my first car and i figured I'd have some fun with it. Suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. I would also love some feedback on my existing ideas. Looking forward to sharing thoughts with everyone! Thanks

Welcome to the forum att3000,

Good to have you here with us at Jaguar forums. You'll find several here who have gone down a similar upgrade route with the chrome and the wheels so you're not alone.

I know you've already found the S-Type tech section and don't need a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues. The Exterior - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum section could also be of interest to you.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Southwest Region section by following this link Southwest US - AZ TX NM OK - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.

Graham
