New member and new owner of a almost pristine Jag XJ6 4.0 1991 Sovergin. It is Silver with silver/black interior. It has been garaged its entire life. It has 180000 miles in the 24 years. No electrical problems. Has small leak in power steering,left seat belt clasp broken on lap belt,and radio antena will no go down the last 3 inches and of course the bonnet and trunk struts need replaced.Other than that no problems. Interior has no cracks in dash or in leather seats. Outside has no scratches in the paint at all. It does have 2 cracked fog lights. Look like rock hits.Now to start fixing these small issues. Drives perfect and runs perfect. Was owned by a 37 year Jaguar mechanic.Have all service records,manuals and paperwork.I am already in love with this big heavy luxury car.

The XJ6 sounds great and has a superb provenance. Nothing serious in the fault list to be able to make it perfect.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Welcome to the forum. May I say, you've got good taste in cars! Actually, it sounds like you've found a real gem. The little repairs it needs are nothing major, and given the care the car has received its whole life, it will likely give you decades of motoring pleasure to come. Enjoy it!
