I own a 2003 XK8 (i.e., platinum silver w/ black convertible top). Purchased new, it is the first Jaguar I have owned and I thoroughly enjoy driving it. I find the wide range of topics in this forum both interesting and informative in helping me maintain my vehicle.

Not many members buy their Jaguar new and keep the vehicle as long. You can't blame the PO for anything!

You probably already know your way to the tech section but if not, follow this link XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XK8/XKR forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Thanks to all who replied to my new member post. I appreciate the various insights / helpful advice about the signature block, applicable forum sections, etc., which can assist me in getting up to speed in this venue. Thanks again.

 

I'm Andy from northwest Florida. I'm 66 years old and a car nut since I was a little kid. In our garage is a 2004 Jag XJ8 that we bought new, a 2008 Corvette convertible, and a 2001 Ford Expedition. I was in the insurance business for more than 30 years and when I was in college I worked as a mechanic in a GM dealership.
