Hi everyone,
Just joined today and finding my way around the site.

I own 97 XJR S/C V8 British RacingGreen 142000 klm.
Was looking at site last night wanting to join as Im sure I will gain lots of knowledge about the XJR.
I live in Tropical North Queensland [Cairns].

Keen to learn myself so I can repair/replace and bring my girl up to A1 and save some money as the Dealers charge lots of cash to repair these magnificent cars. 2 years ago she just stopped and I was told that it had Nikasil Bores and I had to replace or rebuild the motor. 16k later is was back on the road. That hurt.
So now would like to carry out any repairs myself if not to technical.

Cheers for now
Brumby Mark

Just today received my order for top bushes for shocks 97 xjr x308 s/c, they sent xj40 bushes about half the size @$15ea. Then quoted me for correct bush @$600 genuine as they are attached to a metal plate, or $160 per side non genuine. Can you help please
