Hi, I'm Steve Brooks from Cheshire in UK. I have owned an X type, S type and now own an XF 2.2 Diesel for 6 months now. Unfortunately the XF has not performed as expected. A 2-3 second delay when attempting to change gear whilst in motion, it seems confused as to which gear to choose and when I finally get a gear I seem to shoot forward into the vehicle in front. Showroom franchise suggest this is what this paticular models does, and cannot help.

I can see you've already found your around here so there's no need for any links from me. Our contact at Jaguar should be able to get a more satisfactory response from Guy Salmon than their ludicrous suggestion the transmission behaviour is typical.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
