Hello, my name is Jennifer. I am 44, live in Augusta GA,
am retired Air Force and work in the medical field.
I have wanted a Jag since I was 10 yrs old and today
I made that dream a reality. After much research, a lot
done on these forums, I am the proud new owner
of a 2000 XJR. She (the car is definitely female) is fully
loaded with every option and upgrade that was available
that year to include the outdated phone...lol...and has
95890 miles on her. I bought her from a classic car
dealership 2 hrs away and had the divine pleasure of
flooring it passing other drivers on the back country
2 lane hwys. She accelerates so smoothly you have no
idea how fast you are going until you look down at the
instrument panel and go "holy crap!".
I want to thank you all for knowledge and advice as I
lurked as a visitor and avidly read the forums.

Welcome to the forum Jennifer,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums and to hear you found useful advice on the forum to help with your purchase.
I can see you've already found your way to the X308 tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
You can also visit the USA Lower Atlantic Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-lower-atlantic-nc-sc-fl-ga-66/ to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
