Was researching how to fix my faulty tach and found this forum. Owned my 70' SII roadster since 93'. I bought it from my dad when he was moving and wanted to sell. He bought it in 1980 (I was 12). Needs plenty and was never perfect, but runs pretty good a still looks pretty good.

Kids are just getting old enough where I can spend a little more time with her. I've done plenty of repairs and have made my share of mistakes. It's been a great project car and despite various cosmetic flaws I've enjoyed owning it.

Series 2 Roadster? I didn't know there was such a thing! Do you mean Coupe?
How cool it's been in your family for such a long time, and will continue.

I'll look for you over in our playroom here:

Welcome to the forum Senator68,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

It sounds like you've already found your way to the E-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Central Region forum by following this link US Central - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
