Hello to all!
New member and new (used) Jag owner, 2004 X-Type 3.0, Black, with 123,000 miles on it. I currently reside in Pennsylvania, originally from Minnesota.
Have owned it now for 3 weeks, and so far I am enjoying it immensely. Going into the purchase with my eyes wide open, I knew there would be issues with a 12 yr old car, and so far all of the issues are minor and relatively easy and inexpensive to repair.
I have replaced the headlight bulbs, in the process of replacing the windshield washer hoses and connectors and jets. Have already ordered and will be replacing the Ambient Temp sensor. Then I will be working on the loose headliner fabric and broken drivers side vanity mirror and loose interior roof grab handles. The defroster vents covers are loose, but that will also be an easy fix. There is some very minor paint scratches and fading on the front passenger door and read quarter panel ridge, but those too are easy fixed.
Other than those small issues the car is a peach. The previous owner put on Continental Pure Contact tires, and there are only 3,000 miles on them. I had a mechanic check over the engine and underbody and he said everything looks to be in good shape.

Welcome to the forum Darcy Nelson,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
Nothing too difficult or big $$$ on your 'to do' list.
I can see you've already found your way to the X-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
You can also visit the US Northeast Region forum by following this link US Northeast - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
