Hello Everyone,

Conrad from phoenix Arizona. I bought a 2009 Jaguar XF supercharged from the auction a few months ago and it had 106,000 miles on it. Since then it been a nightmare and seems like a money pit for me. I am almost giving up on this car, but at same time still love the car so much. Rebuilt transmission because transmission gets stuck on 4th gear after driving the car for like 30 min at a cost of $3200, changed all 4 rotors and breaks pads because car will vibrate brutally if I step on breaks over 60MILE/HR, changed water pump but coolant signal still showing on dash board. Brand new tyre's on all 4 wheels but low tyre pressure signal, restricted performance and low performance signal still on dash board. Replaced fuel cap and engine check light still on. Interior lights keeps coming on and off like a Christmas tree lol! Men what a mess.
Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum Conrad,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Too late for advice on how to buy a used Jaguar but not too late to lower the repair costs going forwards. Having the codes read should be the first step in troubleshooting the RP and MIL(CEL) light. When asking for help with error code diagnosis, always post the actual codes and not any descriptions you may be given or find in generic lookups.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xf-xfr-x250-44/ to the X250 forum for help, advice and information.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Southwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-southwest-37/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

I've moved your question about the water pump to X250 forum for advice from members with the same model. Here's the direct link to it:

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...ission-186775/

Technical questions should be posted in the model forum.
