New Member - 2000 XKR Convertible - Suburban Philadelphia
Hi, just purchased a 2000 XKR Convertible with 40k miles a few weeks ago. Always loved the design coupled with relatively modern high performance characteristics. BRG with tan interior, my favorite combo for Jags. Will be a ‘weekend’ car. First purchase on BaT, so taking it to mechanic recommended by my local Jaguar club members (DVJC) for a post-purchase inspection. I know the plastic timing chain tensioners are still there, and the top hydraulic hoses were replaced back in 2010. Going to have them focus on shocks, struts, belts, and a vibration at speeds over 65. Seller put on new tires, so may not have been balanced right. Any other suggestions, or relevant threads to look at would be welcome. Thanks,
