I am looking at said vehicle. It has 75k miles and in good condition. I have tracked its service record through the dealer in Arkansas. No more records exist after June 08 when it came into the dealership for its 50k service.
The party that I am purchasing from bought the car in Dec 2010 off ebay. It is my understanding he has put 1,000 miles on it. This is consistent with Carfax data. Sadly he has had a stroke and is not able to communicate.
I took the car to a shop in Denver area that works on Jaguars for a pre-purchase inspection. Brake pads are below minimum tolerance. All rotors need to be replaced. Front driver side ball joint needs to be replaced. Oil pan gasket has minor drip and should be replaced. Back driver side wheel is bent and has a different tire than the other three.
I hope to negotiate with Sellers wife by dropping the aquisition price to cover these repairs.
I have read several do-it-yourself threads and find this forum helpful.

Welcome to the forum Randy. Yes these vehicles are very DIY, trust me I know. JTIS or alldatadiy comes in very handy when wrenching.
In this paticular case, I couldn't agree more. Normally I throughly enjoy the "beating down" negotiations. I personally know what the gentleman and wife are going through and what is to come.
Good luck and keep us updated.
